LaunchAbout Student Stream
We don’t produce generic computer science contentInstead our videos are carefully crafted to meet the exact requirements of a specification, including the subtle differences between them.
Each video is around 12 minutes—enough to cover essential details without being too boring. Students can pause, rewind, and rewatch, making it an fantastic way to learn, even if they miss a lesson.
We are frequently asked if our videos contain enough content at the right pitch to prepare students to achieve the highest grades without the use of additional resources such as textbooks. They certainly are. Our videos contain all the content needed for students to achieve top grades, as proven by high results and student feedback each year. We also update our videos regularly to ensure they maintain the right focus for students as we learn more from past-papers
They’re also great for teachers looking to boost their confidence in course content, serving as excellent CPD.

More about Student Stream Videos
Flipped Classroom
Perfect for flipped classroom teachingStudents can watch a video and take Cornell notes as homework, then bring these notes to class to support their work. This way, they enter with the knowledge needed, speeding up the lesson and covering more content. Teachers gain more time to address challenging concepts and work with individuals or groups, while students become more independent, starting lessons with a shared foundation. If a student skips the homework, they simply watch the video in class.

Static links
All our video content, in one organised space. We do update the videos from time-to-time to maintain the right focus for students as we learn more from past-papers. Unfortunately this breaks the links to the videos on YouTube. To ensure you have a static link to the very latest video, we suggest linking to pages on our static links site instead of directly to YouTube.

Scaffolded note-taking
Scaffolded note-takingAt GCSE
We recommend students pause the video when they see the take-notes icon shown below, and jot down what is written or drawn on the screen in an exercise book.
At A Level
This scaffolding has been removed, but the videos still contain essential notes, the students just need to spot these for themselves. We supply Cornell notebooks at cost-price to support our videos.
