This involves understanding the principles of blockchain, identifying potential use cases, and helping clients integrate blockchain solutions into their operations. My goal is to leverage the power of blockchain to enhance transparency, security, and efficiency in various business processes.”
Key Question
All the activities in this unit enable students to answer the key question:
How does blockchain technology create secure digital currencies that work differently from traditional money?
Knowledge statements
This is achieved by students studying 4 “Learn-it” lessons, each of which focus on one knowledge statement:
- Know what cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are.
- Know how cryptocurrencies are different to Fiat currencies and physical assets.
- Know how blockchain technology works.
- Know why blockchains are more secure.
- E.g. decentralisation, immutability and transparency.

- 4 “Learn-it” lessons with a teacher PowerPoint and student workbook.
- 1 “Make-it” lesson with assessment materials for teachers and students.
