“As a community manager, I focus on the impact of people’s digital footprints. This involves promoting respect for others’ rights online, addressing and preventing cyberbullying, and encouraging positive contributions to the digital community. My goal is to foster a safe and supportive online environment for everyone.”

All the activities in this unit enable students to answer the key question:
How do our actions shape the digital communities we are part of?
Knowledge statements
This is achieved by students studying 4 “Learn-it” lessons, each of which focus on one knowledge statement:
- Know how digital footprints are created and how they affect individuals and communities.
- Know the rights and responsibilities of participating in online communities.
- Know how digital platforms shape user experiences through algorithms, moderation, and automated systems.
- Know the ethical and societal implications of data use, automation, and AI.

- 3 independent homework question sheets supported by 3 online videos hosted on Tella.
